The introductory class covers the basics of Square Dance. Give up a little television for some light exercise and socializing. Although you may have to listen and think a little, the object is to have fun, whooping and hollering is allowed.

MOORPARK'S SENIOR GAMES 2015
September 11 through October 2
Seniors age 55 and over are invited to participate in the 2015 Moorpark Senior Games. The games will officially commence on Friday, September 11 with an Opening Ceremony and luncheon. The games are expected to draw participants from Moorpark and surrounding communities to compete in thirteen events.
Scheduled events include basketball key shots, bingo, bocce ball, bowling, darts, duplicate bridge, golf, horseshoes, mah jongg, poker, poker walk, table tennis and Wii bowling.
The conclusion of the games will take place on Friday, October 2 with a closing ceremony for Senior Games participants, where lunch will be provided and medals will be distributed.
To participate, entry applications must be received by September 2, 2015.

This is a drop-in program designed to connect high school students with Calabasas library patrons who need help using their cell phones, computers and software. Library patrons get the help, free of charge, and the students earn community service credit.

MURAL WALKING TOUR of PACOIMA

Two Turkish artists, Esk Reyn and Wicx, participating in the first Los Angeles/Istanbul Street Artist Exchange Project will be the special guest speakers for the August tour. They will speak about the new mural they are creating on the side of Myke's Cafe with the theme "Human Being/Being Human."
Wear comfortable shoes. Bring umbrellas, caps, sunscreen and/or water bottles anything you may need to make the walk comfortable for you.
A donation of $15.00 is requested - this helps with the mural restoration program.
