Max's Healthy Tip of the Week:

Regular consumption of dates has been found to check the growth of the bad bacteria and help in the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestines.

Dates are already known as a laxative food, and other benefits include lowering the bad cholesterol and strengthening your heart.

Nature always seems to have a

solution for every problem.

So make a date with a date right now!

MARC WEISS TALKS ABOUT FINANCES
EXPERT FINANCIAL ADVICE FROM MARC WEISS
Minimum Social Security Benefit Protects Survivors

Everyone knows that Social Security rules are complicated and occasionally even I get them wrong.  For example,  I had always relied on the Social Security Administration's publications that clearly stated: "If the person who died was receiving reduced benefits, we base your survivor benefit on that amount. The maximum survivor benefit amount is limited to what he or she would have received if they were still alive."

READ MORE HERE ABOUT THESE BENEFITS

Finally, if you are eligible for retirement benefits on your own earnings record as well survivor benefits, you can collect one benefit first and switch to the other later if it would result in a bigger benefit.

Call Marc for answers and solutions to your financial questions.
