Max's Healthy Tip of the Week:

Now that the heat of the summer is waning,
let's get out there and walk.

Our bodies are so amazing in that the bottoms of our feet contain pressure points that actually are connected to all the major organs in our bodies.

So when you walk, you are actually helping to keep these various organs activated.

I bet that's what Hippocrates meant when he said
"walking is man's best medicine".

BEWARE OF MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT SCAMS

Open enrollment runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7 - during that time frame Medicare beneficiaries can make changes to their 2015 health plan and prescription coverage.  Only work with someone you know and trust!  READ MORE HERE

Joann is Age 54. She is divorced with one grown daughter age 28. Joann has been investing her old 401(k) money in Bond and Stock Mutual Funds for the past several years. Her original money was worth $320,000 but is now worth $265,000.

Case Study II: How to get the money from Dad
Jon is age 59. He is married with three grown children. He wasn't sure how he should name the beneficiaries of his IRA monies - in trust or to the children directly.

Case Study III: Taxes are a "choice"
A CPA needed help because they had a client whose father had died leaving about $350,000 in an IRA. The client was coming to see the CPA the next day and he needed advice on how to instruct the client to "distribute" the funds as a check was already cut.

8 SURPRISING SOURCES OF IRON THAT AREN'T MEAT
Although many of us regularly pump iron in the gym, we also rarely give a second thought to working the other kind of iron-the nutrient-into our diet. Maybe that's why iron deficiency affects more than 3 million Americans.
