Max's Healthy Tip of the Week:

Now that apple season is here, let's make sure all those apples we buy will be cold, and crunchy and not spoiled until we're ready to bite into them.

Keeping apples separate from other veggies such as onions, potatoes, and other strong

smelling produce will help to keep them fresh in the refrigerator crisper drawer.

They should be kept by themselves.

Remember there are no rotten apples - only ones that have been stored improperly

TECH SUPPORT SCAMS

In a recent twist, scam artists are using the phone to try to break into your computer. They call, claiming to be computer techs associated with well-known companies like Microsoft. They say that they've detected viruses or other malware on your computer to trick you into giving them remote access or paying for software you don't need.    READ MORE HERE

MARC WEISS TALKS ABOUT FINANCES
EXPERT FINANCIAL ADVICE FROM MARC WEISS

WHO'S THE B-O-S-S?

WHAT DOES B-O-S-S STAND FOR?

BOSS is an acronym that we use to refer to the four key people everyone must consider with respect to retirement planning, i.e., developing an income exit strategy and ensuring all IRAs, 401(k)s and other retirement plans are set up properly.

To ensure retirement assets will be distributed in a manner consistent with an overall retirement plan, all paperwork must be filled out accurately and clearly reflect the owner's wishes. To assist in this, we recommend what we call a BOSS review. This is a retirement plan review that should be conducted at least once per year and must be conducted anytime there is a life changing event such as birth, death, marriage or divorce. But the question remains, who's the BOSS?...
