Civil Discourse – A Current Events Discussion Group

Facilitators: Jerry Matlin and David Kellogg

It’s not easy to find a place where we can talk about topics in the news with a diverse group of people who are willing to respectfully listen to different perspectives. If you are looking for such a place, we invite you to join Bet Torah members Jerry Matlin and David Kellogg who will facilitate conversations on a range of current event topics. Topics will be circulated ahead of time and participants will engage in conversation based on agreed upon guidelines for civil discourse.
If you are interested in participating pls email  Jerry Matlin @
Civil Discourse will meet  Wednesday nights of  July 12, 26 & August 9 & 23 at 8pm

Boomer's Shabbat Dinner

    July 21st @ 6:30pm

Boomers Shabbat is almost here!
It’s a week from Friday, July 21st.

If you want to take advantage of your complimentary Shabbat dinner, you have to let us know this week.

A no charge Shabbat dinner waits for all Boomers who have been with us on an outing in the past year.  For everyone else, Boomer or non Boomer, it’s only  $18, or $36 for a family.  How can you pass up a deal like that?

Before the dinner there will be a Shabbat service run by us Boomers.  Let us know if you want to participate.
Come on, time is running out!

**All members of the Bet Torah community are invited, but seats must be reserved ahead of time. No walk-ins can be accommodated.    If interested,  be sure to RSVP by July 14th

Fill out the form below and send it in today!
