Hello Friends!
As we welcome the beautiful summer weather and the buzz of activity that comes with it, we look forward to a busy and fun season of events happening throughout Ocean Grove.
Last Saturday, our Spring Flea Market welcomed visitors and vendors from near and far, who offered a huge variety of merchandise and food. There was something for everyone! The weather could not have been better and helped make this event a huge success. Don't miss our Fall Flea Market on Saturday, September 12th!
Most people know Ocean Grove has a fascinating history, but did you ever want to know more about it? A visit to our Historical Society can provide all the information you need as they are dedicated to the preservation of the history of Ocean Grove. Located at 50 Pitman Avenue, their museum provides a window into the past. They also maintain Centennial Cottage and provide walking tours during the summer months. Everyone's favorite event is their Summer House Tour. This year is their 47th annual tour on July 17th. For hours and information call 732-774-1869 or

Along with the interesting history of Ocean Grove, we are fortunate to have a variety of musical events in town. Most people are familiar with the Saturday evening programs at the Great Auditorium. This year they include DooWop, Kenny Rogers, Paul Anka, The Beach Boys, and much more! (

). Did you know that the Great Auditorium houses one of the most impressive instruments in the country? Its the 1908 Hope Jones Pipe Organ with over 11,000 pipes with some as long as 32 feet! The excellent acoustics in the Auditorium provide the setting that allows the pipes to fill the air starting with the most delicate sounds and building up to the thrilling power of "full organ". No visit to Ocean Grove is complete without hearing the sounds of this organ. Check our events lists for performances.
Another musical summer treat is the Wednesday evening performances of the Ocean Grove Summer Band. Their location at the boardwalk pavilion overlooking the beautiful beach provides a perfect setting for their popular seaside music. During the summer season, many of our restaurants also have music throughout the evening. Outside dining is a favorite! Needless to say, Ocean Grove provides a wonderful venue for all of your summer activities. Join us for our pristine beaches, our quaint downtown, our music, and our history. Make your plans now to visit our timeless treasure at the Jersey Shore.
