SUMMER NEWS BRIEF
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S NOTE

I'm pleased to bring you the first edition of our revamped SCMS News Brief.  With the goal of providing Society news more frequently and in a mobile-friendly format, we will be issuing the newsletter on a monthly basis.  In addition to providing updates on regular SCMS deadlines and business, we intend to roll out a few new features in the coming months to include periodic updates on Aca Media and Cinema Journal, as well as to spotlight the accomplishments of our members.  Additionally, we will be passing along updates relevant to the field of cinema and media studies, and any interesting opportunities that cross our desks.

We hope you like the new look, and welcome your feedback!
