“Summer’s here and the time is right for dancing in the street.” – Martha and the Vandellas
If you’re into dancing in the street, Delmarva Public Radio will provide the accompaniment…no matter what kind of music gets your feet moving. Classical, Americana, blues, folk, bluegrass, vintage country, funk, hip-hop, rock…all those and more are here to keep your summer filled with music.
End of Fiscal Year Goal - Raise $40,000
Speaking of moving your feet, we hope you’ll move your feet, or maybe just your fingers, to
delmarvapublicradio.net
and show your support for DPR. Our
End of the Fiscal Year Fundraiser
is in full swing. As DPR “rounds third and heads for home” in our fiscal year, we’re asking you to help us end it on a strong, positive note by
raising $40,000 before June 30
. Your support keeps programs like
Morning Edition, Performance Today, Folk Alley
, and so many more available whenever you tune in.
Delmarva in Performance returns to WSCL on May 30
Delmarva is different…and DPR must be different to set ourselves apart from other public radio stations. That’s one of many reasons we produce
Delmarva in Performance
…
our annual showcase of live performances from the Delmarva region, airing on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. on WSCL 89.5 FM starting May 30.
Throughout the year, DPR captures world-class music performances from Salisbury University, Coastal Concerts (Lewes), the Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival (Easton), Chamber Music By The Sea (Berlin/Snow Hill), both the Salisbury and Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestras, and more…then airs them each summer on
Delmarva in Performance
. It’s like being taken to the concerts themselves!
Delmarva in Performance
is just one of many “differences” made possible by your support. Tune in and hear the difference. Then, show your support with
a generous contribution
.
We’ll keep playing the music. You keep dancing (in the street or otherwise).
With sincere gratitude,
-Dana Whitehair, General Manager
