New Art Exhibit: "Mahalo" by Elisabeth Levy
Stop by the newest Accessible Art Show offered in conjunction with the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut.
Mahalo, thank you in Native Hawaiian, was chosen as the title of this body of work because of the gratitude the artist says she feels towards this extraordinary place, otherwise known as The Big Island. "Hawaii's magical land, its blue, white, and lavender dancing waves, its glittering multicolored stones, active volcanoes, and aged hardened planes of lava, as well as its glorious flowers, fish, and other sea life -- brought me great joy and healing during a difficult time in my life," explained Ms. Levy.
Enjoy the exhibit through Thursday, August 13.

Protect our kids, families, and environment by properly disposing of your unwanted and expired medicines. Medicines in the home are a leading cause of accidental poisoning and flushed or trashed medicines can end up polluting our waters. Rates of prescription drug abuse are alarmingly high - over half of teens abusing medicines get them from a family member or friend, including the home medicine cabinet, and often without their knowledge.
