with
  Cecelia Campochiaro
knitwear designer and author of
Simple Methods for Creating Complex Fabrics

Sunday, August 21-
Monday, August 22nd
10am - 4pm

Cecelia Campochiaro  will introduce us to her amazing knitting techniques that have taken the knitting world by storm.  She will teach  us  how to create amazing textured and colored fabrics through a repetition of a unique sequence of stitches.

Day 1 will be an introduction to Sequence Knitting. Cecelia will explain the basics, show samples of sequence knitting, and take us through basic techniques. We'll swatch several different fabrics using these unique patterns as a class and then discuss and learn  how to make amazing fabrics through wise choices of stitch pattern, fiber, and color.

Day 2 will include a slideshow on the genesis of Sequence Knitting and then we'll plunge into our chosen projects (described below) making a gorgeous and wearable shawl.

There will be a choice of  two  different shawl kits  for pre-order: Hamaya and Twigs and Gravel. See below for full details.
