Waist Up/Waist Down: An Evening of Schiaparelli and Prada

Tue. May 15 at 8:00 PM

Metropolitan Museum of Art
1000 Fifth Ave
Applaud the end of the school year in style at a private party with the College Group at the Met in celebration of The Costume Institute's new special exhibition Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. Hear comments by Curator Andrew Bolton and view the exhibition on your own or on tours led by CGM members. Jonathan KYLE Farmer, MA, Royal College of Art, will teach a design workshop, and the winner of the recent accessory-design contest will be announced. You are encouraged to dress to impress in your chicest waist-up or waist-down ensemble. For inspiration, see images of Elsa Schiaparelli's and Miuccia Prada's work.

Students: RSVP to metcollegegroup@metmuseum.org. Please note if you also plan to attend the panel discussion at 7:00. Space is limited.
