Sermon: "Let the Way Be Open"

First Unitarian is offering a Hogwarts Summer Day Program for two weeks from July 9-20. On this Sunday in between the two weeks, we would like to invite the congregation and community of students and parents to join in an interfaith worship. The theme of the camp is Alohomora - the Harry Potter spell of unlocking, opening, and beginnings. We will explore the theme through readings, music, presentations from the first week, and a homily by Dr. Jessica Gray (aka Headmistress Iris Imaginoria, director of the camp and Director of Faith Development Ministries). We will meet for this worship in the Great Hall (the sanctuary) and all guests will be invited to explore the magical castle of Hogwarts during the social hour.
