Another Successful Summer Youth Employment Program!
This August, Tree Trust wrapped up another year of the SYEP. We are proud of all the hard work and progress made by our participants during their 9-week internships, and extend our hearty congratulations to all those who made this summer a success!

Our individual internship program placed 112 participants at local businesses and nonprofits this summer. Four participants earned awards for outstanding performance in their work. You can view photos from these internships and graduations on our Facebook page

Tree Trust offers individual internships year-round. To learn more, visit our website

An additional 239 youth worked on a crew in our Youth Conservation Corps to complete environmental improvement projects. Of YCC participants, 46 had perfect attendance, and 30 received governor's awards for excellence. Crews completed 29 outdoor improvement projects around the Twin Cities! You can view more pictures from the summer on our Instagram or Facebook page

If you are or know an 18-24 year old interested in working on a crew, please see the article below about our Young Adult Conservation Corps!

Meet our New Outreach Coordinator!
Tree Trust is excited to welcome our newest staff member, Ashley, to her position as Outreach Coordinator.

Ashley graduated from St. Catherine University and has focused on outreach and informal education at a variety of organizations since 2013. She most recently served as a member of the GreenCorps program with Urban Roots. At Urban Roots, Ashley was a supervisor for the conservation program and assisted with outreach by providing educational activities at many events and through social media.

Ashley will help youth and young adults around the Twin Cities connect with our services and programs!
