Little Rockstars

Learn how to be a reading rockstar with this movement and stories class. We will explore the different styles of music that make us move and learn how we can be rockstars for our parents and friends. For ages 2-7 years old.

Reading Buddies

This weekly event aims to pair your child with a high school volunteer to meet their 20-minute reading goal for that day. Ages Pre-K to 3rd grades.

Teen Advisory Board

Want your voice to be heard? Attend our Teen Advisory Board and obtain 1 hour of volunteer time to help shape how the library serves teens. In this meeting, we will decide future volunteering opportunities and teen programs.

Teen Volunteer Party for those who have dedicated themselves to help out in the library during the summer months.

Total Tutoring
will be on vacation
during the month of August.
Sessions will resume in September.

Is your child struggling in school? Are other tutoring centers not working? Then join Total Tutoring today! It is run by high school students who want to give back to the community by helping our future leaders excel.
Tutoring is available for students in grades K-10  in math, science, English, history and world language. 


1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple,
the rewards are priceless!
Sign up at the Children's Reference Desk. 
Keep a log of each book you read with your baby, toddler, or preschooler. Earn prizes for every 25 books read and a free book for every 100 books!

Enjoy a summer family outing with our
MUSEUM PASSES!
Sponsored by the Friends of the Sayreville Public Library.

The Sayreville Public Library circulates museum passes to
Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton,
the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in NYC, and 
beginning July 1st, the Battleship New Jersey in Camden.

 Pass policies are changing for September! 
Passes will be checked out for 3 days (example: check a pass out on Monday and it will be due back on Wednesday). 
 Reservations may be made up to 2 months in advance by speaking with a reference librarian.

we encourage you to make a donation to the Friends of the SPL 
and consider joining them.
