Nauset Beach May 2016

May 2016

Summer has finally arrived and Orleans has the air of anticipation all around.  For our kids (alright and us too!) it means "Ice Cream Cafe" in Orleans is open for the season.  My favorite has to be the homemade salty caramel or ginger, Jo's is Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.  What's your favorite?

Cape Cod and ice cream go hand in hand.

It also seems to be the season of the "10 best things to do on the Cape". Everyone has their opinions, so not to be outdone, Jo and I compiled our list, and includes our own Nauset Beach, sunset at Rock Harbor and of course whale watching.  Check our blog, and add a comment to it, we'd love to hear your own recommendations, we're always looking for new things to pass along to our guests. Many of you will be familiar with the EdibleCapeCod magazine published here and around the country typically four times a year.  We're thrilled to have been highlighted in the spring issue, talking about B&B's in general, but with a focus on Jo's fresh and organic breakfasts, take a look.   Also look out for a great piece on our friends from across the road at Nauset Farms too - East Orleans is clearly the place to be!

Whatever your plans are for the summer, have a wonderful time and hopefully we can share some time with you.
