This Saturday the  Connecticut Trolley Museum  will be participating in the Connecticut Open House Day! Buy a Connecticut Trolley Museum admission and receive the second admission FREE (higher price prevails). To qualify for this promotion all visitors must show a valid Connecticut driver’s licens e.

Father's Day Behind the Scenes Tour, Sunday, June 18th

"Behind-the-Scenes” tour will give visitors the opportunity to take a close-up look at some of the current restoration projects including  Connecticut Company Car #3001, The Northern Ohio Traction & Light Co. #1500, Nassau (N.Y.) Electric Railway #169, 1926 American LaFrance Fire Truck and a 1955 General Motors Transit Bus. Additionally, tour the grounds that are normally closed off to visitors with a Museum guide. 

Dads and Granddads receive FREE admission when accompanied by a paying child. Additionally, get up close and personal as you climb aboard selected Trolleys from our incredible collection. Tour our Visitor Center full of historic trolleys. Pack a picnic lunch and come and spend some time with the family.  You can ride the Trolley cars as many times as you would like!

Summer is Funner at the CT Trolley Museum! June 19th- August 31st

Trolley Rides: Take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen.  Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began.
Trolley Experiences: Get up close and personal as you climb aboard selected trolleys from our incredible collection in our Visitor Center. What it is like to operate a trolley? You can find out at CTM. From streetcars to Interurban cars this is your chance to take the controllers and let your imagination “operate”.
Crafting Table– Make a Motorman Hat or create your own trolley fare ticket. Take your new creations home with you for future use.
Scavenger Hunt - Navigate through the Visitors Center using a scavenger Hunt. Whoever completes the hunt wins a trolley token!
Dress-up Station- Dress up as a Motorman or Conductor! Great Photo op!
Guided Tours- View our historic collection of trolley and railroading history.  Experience how transportation once was with a Museum Guide.
Fire Truck Museum- View over 15 Fire Trucks dating back to 1923.  Learn more about the Fire Truck Museum’s collection along with historic Fire Fighting equipment. (Admission to Fire Truck Museum is included in the Trolley Museum admission ticket)

Visit the Lutz Children's Museum free of charge & receive half off admission at the New England Air Museum.
