Video campers leave us laughing
BCTV has been hosting a summer video camp since 2008, and we think we've seen it all until a new group of young videomakers shows up on our door. This year was no different. The notes left behind from the initial brainstorm included the following:
  • ninja detectives interview a sponge (witness)
  • neglected, troubled broom turns serial killer
  • clam drama

By now you know which compelling story line they decided to pursue - the story of hippie-genre protesters on a mission to liberate Vermont's clam population from the (world famous, visible from space) Clam Dam. We are just starting to refrain from making clam protest puns, including "Yes We Clam", "Clams are People Too" and my personal favorite,"Eat Pray Clam." The premiere of the movie was well received by parents and friends, including the advertisements, stop motion credits, special guest appearance on green screen by The Snaz, and slideshow of "behind the scenes" photos
