Hot Fun in the Summertime!
Happy middle of the summer! It's going quickly. We had a great time seeing you all during the anniversary month and it hasn't slowed down since! We love seeing so many of you every summer, from all parts of the country/world! We have been very busy adding new classes and of course fabrics, notions, books and patterns. The new computer/POS system is working out and/or we have adjusted to all of the changes. While I was on vacation, Joyce and Bonnie hosted a wonderful breakfast club celebrating Christmas with appropriate food, samples and inspiration. I had 2 weeks of vacation with my family including my sweet "little" boys, and I thank the staff for making that possible and easy for me. You will have to stop in and check out what's new. Feathers are such a favorite of so many and there are so many different types to learn. Previous free motion experience is helpful for this class.

Overcome the fear of cutting and piecing ovals! In this class, Barbara will demonstrate how to use the new Creative Grids- Ovals All Ways ruler designed by Karla Alexander. The Ovals All Ways Ruler is designed to cut quarter, half and full oval shapes in a variety of sizes. Barbara will guide you in creating a stunning quilt using one of four Karla Alexander's patterns - Blue Onion, Twirl, Trading Places or Spin Cycle (not shown). You choose the pattern you would like to make and Barbara will teach you the technique!

Domestic Violence Project
Please join us in supporting the Domestic Violence Project by donating NEW women's and children's underwear (in packaging), diapers, laundry detergent, nightwear,(especially women's nightgowns), socks, and toiletries.
We will also accept craft supplies and children's DVDs -which don't have to be new.
This is an ongoing program that supports our local domestic violence shelters.

Saturday, October 20th, 2018 (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
During the Quilts of Valor Day we will have sewing machines set up and pre-cut fabric available for anyone who wants to come and make a quilt block or stay and make several that will go into a QOV quilt.
No sewing experience needed!
Volunteers always needed for Quilting, Binding and Pillow Cases.
