Hello Happy Hooves friends and family,

Whew! Our summer has been full of therapeutic riding lessons, over 40 summer camp scholarships for special needs children & at risk youth, and plenty of hot weather!  As we begin to look towards fall, we will be gearing up for weekly therapeutic riding lessons and our School at the Barn program. For the past 15 years, Upstate special needs school classes and at risk youth have been coming to Eden Farms to spend their school day with their teachers and guidance counselors riding horses, participating in equine assisted learning, and continuing their classroom curriculum.  The goal of Happy Hooves' School at the Barn program is that the time the students spend here will greatly impact their everyday lives, and it does!  We have had countless parents and teachers report that the children have benefited both physically and mentally by continuously spending their time on the farm.  Our school at the Barn program would not be possible with out the generosity of Dabo and Kathleen Swinney's ALL IN TEAM Foundation and Helen's Hugs .  If you are interested in becoming a School at the Barn volunteer  for the fall 2018 school year, please click this link.  

Did you know we have added a new page to our website?  Our THANK YOU page is dedicated to the many generous sponsors and business partners who continue to empower our organization to help our mission to enhance the lives of special needs children and adults, as well as at-risk children and teens by providing horse-centered activities and therapies. We could not accomplish our goals without the support, involvement and enthusiasm of all of our committed supporters.  They are improving the lives of special needs children and at risk youth in the Upstate!
