.) Check your Sump! Make sure nothing else is plugged in with your sump pump.
.) Know where your sump pump discharge line ends and make sure the line is clear and working.
.) Is the sump pump pit clear of debris? Make sure the float can move freely. We have found many interesting things floating in pits before, including toys.
.) Do you have a battery powered backup sump pump? They are essential in the event of an unexpected power outage. We recommend the PHCC 2400. It is both AC powered and battery.
Water is a wonderful thing, but not if it fills up your home! The results of a sump pump failure can be disastrous. Check your sump pump regularly and if something doesn’t seem right, call the Professionals in the Big Black Trucks (
