Is your Restaurant ready for the holiday season?

Believe it or not, the holiday season is right around the corner. This time of year always tends to creep up on us, but for the restaurant owner, letting it slip by is not an option. Now is the time to prepare for the multitude of diners coming your way? Here's how you can get ready for the fast approaching season:

Evaluate last year
Think about what happened last holiday season. What worked? What didn't? Apply what you learned to this year's action plan.

Prepare your staff
Make sure your staff is equipped for the expected flux of traffic and trained accordingly. If you don't think your current staff will be enough, hire now for any gaps you see. Consider temporary help. With college students coming home this time of year looking for seasonal work the extra help shouldn't be too hard to come by.
