Jessie says he stumbled across CollegeTracks as a senior at Bethesda-Chevy Chase
High School. When he learned what they were up to, he signed up on the spot.
He believes CollegeTracks is the "whole reason" he's even in college:
"The College Tracks team helped me a lot. I had a difficult time figuring out the college application process on my own, especially pulling together the paperwork to complete the FAFSA.
If it weren't for their help breaking down the process, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be at Montgomery College majoring in graphic design.
Now I feel like I really have a chance to achieve my career goal of becoming an art director. Who knows, maybe someday I'll become a creative director and oversee an agency."
In 2017, CollegeTracks served more than 1,200 students. You can support students like Jessie on their journeys to a career and prosperity--for themselves, their families and their community.
By supporting our efforts in the year ahead, you can open the door to higher education for all students in Montgomery County.
