When we opened
Fit to Recover
in January, we never imagined we'd be building a climbing wall in September. But our members told us that climbing and recovery have much in common: both require strength, purpose and focus, and both provide a sense of accomplishment. We want to share this recovery resource with all in our community.
FTR runs 25 classes a week ranging from exercise dance to yoga to kettlebells.
We hav
e a garden that
members tend, and a thriving volunteer program that supports needs in the community, including work with Salt Lake City's homeless population. We chronicle our stories through creative writing and original music production. We have more than 100 members who come to the gym regularly, and have helped hundreds more through our work with clients in treatment centers across the Wasatch Front.
Please show your support -- not only for this healthy, active, caring community dedicated to substance use recovery, but for the people who step forward each day to leave addiction behind and become "fit to recover."
Give to FTR's
Reach High, Climb STRONG
fundraising campaign today. FTR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so your donation is fully tax-deductible.
Thank you from all of us at #TeamFTR.
Sincerely,
