This month, Rhythm & Motion is going on an outing right here on the ODC campus to prove that we don't have to go far to support our teachers and enjoy the vibrant San Francisco dance scene.
For one weekend only-12 dance artists including ODC/Dance, past and present ODC Theater artists in residence, and national guests from Minneapolis, Seattle, and Philadelphia take over the ODC campus for a fringe-style dance festival. Including San Francisco dance luminaries, the avant-garde and rising stars, ODC Theater's ever-sharp curatorial eye is offering up a menu of what's hot in the contemporary dance world.
Rhythm & Motion is going to be represented well! As part of the festival, Ryan Smith and Wendy Rein's company RAWDance (ODC Artists In Residence) will perform their work Fallout. And Esme Kundanis-Grow will be performing in a work by Bay Area choreographer Catherine Galasso.

But, did you know Esme was a beautiful modern dancer who is busy dancing all around town in contemporary work? We first saw her perform in Catherine Galasso's showing for the ODC Sandbox series and were blown away--what a performer! Check out the clip from that showing below.
