SUPREME COURT, BOB KERREY

WRONG ON OBAMACARE

LINCOLN, NE - Nebraska Republican Party Chairman Mark Fahleson called today's US Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Health Care Act "a loss for personal liberty and economic freedom" and said Nebraska voters are more motivated than ever to elect Mitt Romney for President and Deb Fischer to the US Senate.

"Today's ruling does not change the fact that the majority of Nebraskans believe Obamacare means tax increases and higher insurance premiums," Fahleson said. "The solution remains the same; Elect Mitt Romney and repeal Obamacare."

Also following today's Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, liberal Democrat Bob Kerrey released a statement in which he declared he was "confident" that he "can work with Republicans to find common sense solutions to improve our nation's healthcare system."

Bob Kerrey forgot to mention in his statement that he wants to implement a universal single-payer system which would ban private insurance companies, something even President Obama opposes.

"We have long-known Bob Kerrey's east coast views are completely out of touch with Nebraskans, but his support of a radical form of government-run health care might even be too extreme for his high-falutin' neighbors in Greenwich Village," Fahleson said. "Deb Fischer is the only candidate for Senate who will vote to repeal the disastrous health care law."
