Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Health Care Ballot Issue
Columbus, OH, August 12, 2011. The Ohio Supreme Court today rejected ProgressOhio's attempt to remove Issue 3 from the Nov. 8 ballot. The Supreme Court ruled 7-0 to uphold the validity of the signatures turned in by supporters of the Ohio Healthcare Freedom Amendment. The Constitutional Amendment, which gives Ohioans the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions, will remain on the ballot November 8.
