WE may "THINK/PLAN" to go this way or that BUT...........................

When I make plans and especially if I voice the same "plans" to others, I TRY to include the phrase, "IF THE LORD WILLING?"

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
Just when I "THINK" I got it all planned/figured out, God or somebody else often throws me a curve!!
AND I then WHIFF badly-can you say "swing and miss!!??"
Now I'm gonna go WAY BACK-On WAY BACK WEDNESDAY!!!

Do YOU remember an ancient band called STEPPENWOLF-most remembered for their song, "BORN TO BE WILD!"
I WELL remember another song, albeit obscure-I bet few even remember it/much less the lyrics!?
Beloved, words and even music has impact on our lives for many years/perhaps eternity?
These words helped form and shape my life for years to come and greatly influenced my thinking and direction in life:

We'll call you when you're six years old

And forty years you waste to chase the dollar sign

I knew after hearing these "words of wisdom" NOT to plan/focus my life on THIS world-even though at that time I did not KNOW the Lord!!!!
I knew THEN, even as I well know today, God can and God DOES not work according to "OUR" plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is and will be THAT day of OUR death and then the reckoning-AMEN!!??
NONE of US knows what tomorrow or even today holds in store for US!!
