Have your say on proposed PCEHR legislation changes

Survey closes Wednesday 17 June 5pm EDST

The Health Informatics Society of Australia (HISA) and the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) invite you to respond to a survey about proposed PCEHR legislation changes. You are invited to make your contribution as a member of our digital health community.

More information

Following a review of the PCEHR released in 2014, the Department of Health is proposing a number of legislative changes to improve take-up by individuals and healthcare providers.

This requires amendments to the 'Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records Act 2012' (PCEHR Act) and the 'Healthcare Identifiers Act 2010' (HI Act).

As part of the consultation process the Department of Health has recently released a Legislation Discussion Paper outlining their proposals.

HISA and HIMAA are going to compile a report representing the views of members and stakeholders for submission to the Department.

The survey is open to all and we encourage you to not only make a personal contribution, but to pass on this email to others in your networks and encourage them to participate.

The survey questions correspond to issues covered in the discussion paper so you can choose to answer some or all of them.

We want to hear from you!

Proudly brought to you by the Health Informatics Society of Australia and the
Health Information Management Association of Australia
