Saturday, March 5th at 12:30pm The Suzi Shelton Band at Southpaw - Brooklyn, NY
Hello Friends! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your continued support and encouragement. Your notes, your emails, your photos and your videos mean so much to me.
We are so excited to kick off our spring with Chicago's own Little Miss Ann and her band at one of our favorite hotspots - Southpaw!
This concert will benefit a local preschool that is near and dear to my heart, Brooklyn Free Space, and all are welcome! I will be joined by my band, my awesome horn section, as well as Emma and The Brooklyn Gumdrops!
There will be food, raffle prizes, stroller parking and endless fun! PLEASE GET YOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME! It is quite possible that this show will sell out.
Whew, what an amazing month it has been...
Steve, Emma and I had a great time performing with Bob McGrath from Sesame Street, Jeremy Plays Guitar, Joanie Leeds, Jon Samson, Baze and His Silly Friends, Dave Lambert from The Fuzzy Lemons,
and other wonderful and talented friends at the Kids Rock benefit concert for
Kids Need a Melody
: raising money for much needed music for kids in the shelter system in NYC.
We had a wonderfully full house at Jumpin' Juniper at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange where Emma joined me for our brand new song, Tomboy in a Princess dress! You can also check that out on the youtube video below when you have a minute.
SAVE THE DATE! On April 2nd at 11am, the band and I are playing a benefit concert for an exceptional organization Gallop, NYC at The Flea Theater in Manhattan! Tickets are onsale NOW.
We are looking forward to an awesome spring and summer including "Singing with Suzi" webcast which will be a combination of both live and taped episodes and concerts to be viewed in your own home! Stay tuned for more info coming soon...
Upcoming shows include: Goat on a Boat in Sag Harbor, Ft. Greene Park in Brooklyn and Madison Square Park, NYC! New shows are being added all the time, so please check our website or facebook page frequently. Peace and love, Suzi ;)
