It's All About the Stars
Among the joys that comes of spending summer in our little corner of heaven is the opportunity to enjoy a cool, clear and starry evening in the quiet countryside.
It's even better if you can add world class entertainment to the experience. And this weekend offers more than a few chances to do that.
To paraphrase Van Morrison, it's bound to be a marvelous night for a moondance, with the stars up above in your eyes.
And just one more reason to love life in our Sweet Home!
Enjoy! Have a great the week.
We'll see you next Friday.

Lighting Celebration for the Restored Neon Sign
The Tepee of Cherry Valley is one of historic Rt. 20's best known landmarks and roadside attractions in Central NY. The gift shop opened in 1950, and moved to its current location in 1954. Since 2011 The Tepee has been listed on the national and state registries of historic places. The owners, Donna and Dale Latella are inviting all to join The Lighting Celebration of the Restored Neon Tepee Sign. The neon sign, that was installed on the side of The Tepee when it was built 1954, has not been operational for the past 30 years. Last summer the sign was removed. Jeff Friedman of Let There Be Neon restored the sign over the winter. Now that the neon sign has been reinstalled, the owners are anxious to switch it back on. Join them for the celebration on Saturday July 12th from 7:30PM - 9:00PM, there will be a reception followed by the official lighting of the restored neon sign. The Tepee will remain opened during this time with after-hours specials in honor of the occasion. You can RSVP The Tepee on Facebook or call 607 264-3987.
Please join us. Thank you Donna & Dale Latella
