Wassailing Weekends
Steeped in tradition and legend, wassail dates from the 1300's when sharing a pot of holiday wassail was a community event. The word evolved from the Old English "waes hael" meaning good health. It was the custom to drink and shout again "Waes Hael!" before passing the bowl on to the next eager participant. Wassailing became a tradition as carolers carried bowls of hot wassail for good health, refilling them from neighbor's own simmering pots of wassail. Cider will be available every day from 9:00 - 6:00 until the Mill closes for the season December 20. 288 Goose Street

Transitions and Traditions - Want more meaning, less materialism this holiday season?
$35 Registration prior to 11/30 is required. Email Cheryl for details. Please join me for a fun workshop to boost your holiday spirit! This time of year we are flooded with images of "the perfect holiday". These images do not take into account common life realities-- loss, divorce, financial strain, being far from family, change in health, lifestyle, job, etc... What happens to our holiday traditions and rituals when we face major life changes? This workshop will provide participants with tools to add meaning to their lives and grow through challenges by creating new rituals/traditions. Participants will receive a bonus hypnosis CD recording entitled, "Relax Through the Holidays". Less stress. More meaning. Hope to see you there! Want more meaning, less materialism this holiday season? Cheryl DeDecker, M.S. Board Certified Hypnotist Compass Coaching and Hypnosis
