For the 6th Ward Athletic Association Foundation's "Tailgate 5k", runners will enjoy a flat course for 3.1 miles and then a tailgate party with all the fixins' afterwards. Wings, chili, hamburgers, hotdogs and more are included, as well as a long-sleeved shirt for the brisk weather. Additionally, games such as cornhole will be available to play. And, let's not forget all the football to watch! *Register by October 7th to be guaranteed a shirt* Proceeds from the race will benefit the 6th Ward Foundation, which supports community activities and youth athletics.

Silent Art Auction Benefit

Maryann Stow is a local artist who has been a supporter of CANO & the regional arts community for many years. This silent auction will help raise money to help Maryanne fight cancer. Experimental Water Media with Marie Cummings

Marie Cummings will help you along your artistic journey with an out side the box perspective. She will show you many experimental ways to make texture, which can be used in either abstract or representational work. Her focus will be on composition and design. Marie's teaching method is intuitive, helping you reach beyond your comfort level. Each class, Marie will present an idea for you to begin your painting. The simplest pumpkin ever! All we will need is fabric, a stick, batting, some silk leaves and wire, and secret ingredient you won't believe!!!
