There's
STILL
Fall Foliage
??

In the 33 years I've lived here, I don't EVER recall seeing peak or near-peak foliage this late into October!

But, here we are...
And it appears that we've still got several days left to enjoy it.

So find yourself a winding road and a destination for entertainment.

As you'll see in the calendar below, there's a lot being offered.

This weather's been a gift.

But, as it starts to cool down this weekend, you can be assured...

It won't last much longer!

So... Enjoy!
And we'll see you next Friday.

Moving Beyond Mistakes: Building Restorative Communities
The Chenango County Systems of Care Committee is excited to host a "Restorative Justice Training" in our local area. We are collaborating with Duke Fisher from Learning Laboratories to share information on how we can utilize research based strategies to help and better support our youth and teens when they have made mistakes that impact others. The training will be an overview of issues regarding "Restorative Justice" and how its implementation can be useful in building communities that are safe and empowered. Families will receive information on how to incorporate a "Restorative Justice" philosophy into their daily life. The training will be very hands on and active. We encourage families, youth, school personnel and any interested community members to attend.
