Michael Stolzer Fine Art will celebrate its first anniversary with the opening of a group show in The Red Room. The show will include work by the artists who have exhibited work during the first year... Haunted Trail Wagon Ride Park your car in the West Parking lot and take the wagon ride to Eerie Acres and experience a frightfully fun time. You never know what you'll see wandering through Eerie Acres. There are sure to be screams and chills as you face your fears in the dark. Wander through the foggy graveyard...if you dare...watch the scary movies, get some tricky treats and some spooky surprises! Friday and Saturday evening will feature wagon rides through Eerie Acres, every half hour leaving from the West Shelter in the park. At the shelter you will find "Hallo-Weenies," Crazy Cupcakes and Cookies, Popcorn, and refreshments. Stop in for goblin games after your ride. Pumpkin Day at Oneonta Farmers' Market
The Oneonta Farmers' Market will hold its annual Pumpkin Day event this coming Saturday on the Main St. Plaza. The event will include free samples, pumpkin painting, live music, an informational table by Sidney Federal Credit Union (SFCU) and pumpkins galore. The event is sponsored by Sidney Federal Credit Union. Stop by the tasting table to sample delicious dishes made with farmers' market pumpkins, expertly prepared by a culinary team from the SUCO Restaurant and Food Services department. Baked goods vendor, You're So Sweet, will offer free samples of pumpkin soft pretzels with a cream cheese dip. There will be pumpkin painting for kids at the crafts table while supplies last plus free balloons and other fun activities. 5798 NY 80 Cooperstown Folk Art Painting Class With Artist Susan Jones Kenyon This autumn, join artist Susan Jones Kenyon in a new, six-week painting class at the Fenimore Art Museum "Regular Folk: Painting Folk Art with Susan Jones Kenyon" Participants will view and learn the history behind specific paintings by Grandma Moses, then reinterpret one of her iconic pieces, as well as create their own folk art The program is open to adults ages 18 and older No previous painting experience is necessary Susan Jones Kenyon is a versatile artist, proficient in realism, impressionism, and folk art.
