Swim Lessons Start on Monday, June 4th

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning is the second-leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children ages 1 to 14. It's not too late to enroll your kids in the CSD's summer swim lessons where they will learn proper water safety practices so they can enjoy playing in the water all summer long. The CSD offers a variety of lesson options, including group lessons and private lessons, for swimmers of all ages, from 9 months old to adults! Click here to register:

Flick & Float
When: Wed., June 20   

Swim, float, splash and have a relaxing evening at the Community Pool while watching "Trolls" on the big screen! The family can enjoy a cool show on a hot summer night! Noodles and life jacket flotation devices are welcome. Movie begins at sunset and ends at 10pm. 
Fee: $5   ($3 for swim pass holders)

Water Spray Grounds are OPEN!

The spray grounds at Peter Bertelsen Park and Promontory Community Park are officially open for the season! Hours are 10am-8pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For your safety, please do not sit on the water jets and also make sure to reapply sunscreen more frequently than needed as water causes sunscreen to wear off more quickly.

Food Truck Festival and Beer Garden Wednesdays

Join us every third Wednesday of the month through October for food, music, fun, and brews! All proceeds benefit the  EDH Promise Foundation .

Notice of Consolidated District Election

On May 10, 2018, the El Dorado Hills Community Services District Board of Directors passed and adopted Resolution no. 2018-12 pursuant to Elections Code Sec. 10522  declaring a District Election be held in its jurisdiction on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 for three seats on the District's Board of Directors .  Serving on the District's Board of Directors is a great public service opportunity that requires exceptional commitment and significant time of the incumbent. El Dorado Hills residents interested in declaring candidacy may pick up the appropriate forms starting Monday, July 16, 2018. Completed Declaration of Candidacy forms should be filed in person no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 with the El Dorado County Elections Department, 2850 Fairlane Court in Placerville. Please contact the El Dorado County Elections Department for more information or with questions:

Gold Country Half Marathon
When: Sunday, June 10

Dust off your running shoes and get active! Walk, jog or run in El Dorado Hills' premier 5K and Half Marathon on June 10, 2018! All participants rec eive a custom designed race shirt, a 5K or Half Marathon finisher's medal and entry into the post-race festivities featuring live music, food, and drinks! A portion of the sponsorship proceeds benefits the El Dorado Hills Promise Foundation. Get your friends and family involved and don't miss out on the fun!!
