Mission of Mermaids - Screening News

Greetings!
Thank you all for the waves of enthusiasm that we've been receiving since the film launched early this year!
We've screened some wonderful festivals and at private functions, and there's been a terrific demand for community screenings at aquaria, schools and events. We've even been invited to swim with whales!
We can barely keep up! It's wonderful to see that the film is truly capturing people's imagination and, more importantly, that there is a strong and growing concern about our ocean's health and a desire to share the steps we can all take to raise awareness and to make a change.

Ocean Festival Gala - New York
Saturday, June 16, 8 pm
MOM will be screening at a charming event that will take place in Long Island City this coming Saturday, and that will include a keynote speaker, sunset salutations, a dance performance and mermaid costumes!
Thanks to Tucker Robbins and Plastic Pollution Coalition for organizing it and honoring our oceans just in time for summer when we just want to dive in to those healing, beautiful waters.

Woods Hole Film Festival
July 28 - August 4th
Yes, we will be screening there! This is a wonderful festival, in a beautiful location, right near the Oceanographic Institute.

Upcoming Event
Coney Island Mermaid Parade!
June 23
New York City will start the summer with style with the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade, now celebrating its 30th anniversary.
We will of course be there, dressed up in our seaside best. Come dance with us! No screening, just us girls having fun and handing out postcards.

We've been receiving lots of wonderful feedback about the film and our efforts to get the word out about ocean conservation.
