12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
I rarely know beforehand what God would have me speak on!
I learned many years ago not to fret or worry about the subject OR the words to write or speak:
Mark 13:11 (KJV)
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

TAKE NO THOUGHT BEFOREHAND WHAT YE SHALL SPEAK, NEITHER DO YE PREMEDITATE........."
I had a BUSY and taxing morning, determined to step out in FAITH!
There is such a fine line between FAITH and presumption!!!
Oftentimes, the PROBLEM is figuring out which one is operating in!!??
So, AS USUAL, I began today with no idea or hint as to TODAY'S message!?
I finally was able to extract myself from the "cares of this life" a few minutes ago and as I carried the garbage to the street, noticed the "snail mail" had delivered.
I leafed through the junk mail and found a small card addressed to me, sent from my son Joshua on death row.
I left the junk mail in the mail box and opened the card only.
It was a BEAUTIFUL copy of a HAND DRAWN original painting by a young man destined to be EXECUTED tomorrow night, 3/31/16-JOSHUA DANIEL BISHOP.
I have visited this man for several years, have had numerous PRAYERS with him, and in fact, made SURE of his SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST the last visit I had with him.
He is NOW a fine BELIEVER in the Lord Jesus Christ, having committed his hideous crimes many years ago.
Did not Jesus say:
Matthew 25:36-40 (KJV)
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
I had one of the most wonderful compliments spoken to me last week at a funeral I officiated.
The daughter of the deceased took me by the shoulders and told me, "Doug, you are truly a "man of sorrows!"
My son, Joshua, wrote on the small card,

When the prison allowed inmates to paint, Joshua Bishop painted this drawing and someone placed it on a card.
I have held on to it for 4 years.
I told Bishop that when he went on DEATH WATCH then I would send it to you, and ask him to come to this prison on his EXECUTION DATE to support him.
I hope you will come up here around 6:00 PM to support him and meet people-even if you can only come one hour.

Beloved, WE are only allotted a precious FEW days on this earth and this life!

WE SHOULD LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, AND GODLY IN THIS PRESENT WORLD!!!"
WE should LIVE each and every day of our lives by FAITH, "PRESSING TOWARD THE MARK!!!!!!!!!!!"

As the OLD commercial stated, "You only go round ONCE in this life!
TODAY, if YOU are gonna do ANYTHING for God or others, DO IT while you can!!
STEP OUT IN FAITH, LIVE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW-JUST DO IT!!
Let God sort out whether it is FAITH or presumption.
As Joyce Meyers said, "If you miss God, HE will find you!!"
WE have to "swing the bat" in order to get a hit!!
SWING THAT BAT!!
