Syracuse Elite Camp
Syracuse, NY - It was good to finally get to the Dome, a building with such tradition. I got a chance to chop it up with Dan Olson, as well as the Syracuse staff on what was needed to continue their growth in the Big East.
Here are some players that stood out at Syracuse Elite Camp:

In my opinion Tasia was the MVP of the camp! She led her team to a sudden death playoff as they came up just short of a rematch of the Brittney Sykes led squad. The matchup between those two was the best of the camp with Tasia getting the better of the two on Saturday night. If she can continue the tear she was on this past weekend her summer squad will go from the Dynamic Duo to the Three Amigos.  Stay Tuned for the summer evaluation period...

Tasia Butler- 5'11- 2013

Tasia Butler

Rhamat Alhassan

Rhamat Alhassan- 6'4- 2014

Rhamat was the focus of the entire Syracuse staff this weekend because of the possibilities.

She will be one of the two best post players coming out of the DMV in the 2014 class.  As she continues her growth the list of interested institutions will grow as well.

Dejohane Cannady-5'10- 2012

Dejhonae Cannady

Dejhonae is extremely athletic. She has a good first step and creates well around the basket.  I would like to see her expand her ballhandling and develop a pull up jumper. She is definitely one to keep a watch on.

Brittney Sykes battling Coach Gibson

I know Coach had to love seeing the bonding taking place between All Everything Brittney Sykes & Coach Gibson.  To her credit Coach Gibson had to show the youngster that she could still stroke that thing!

I want to thank Coach Hillsman and his staff for a great weekend and I look forward to covering the Elite Camp next year.

The Tri State Report show premieres 7/21/11!
