The Parents Office is here to promote your awareness of and involvement in your student's educational experience. Together, we can make the most of your role.
Parent and Family Newsletter | May 2017
Dear new parents and supportive family members:

Welcome to Syracuse University! We are delighted that your family chose to become part of the Orange family.

Whether your student is preparing to graduate from high school or has decided to make a change in their college plan by transferring, the Parents Office is here to help. Like you, we want your student to have a supportive environment that fosters success.

Our staff is here to listen, help you weigh options, and provide referrals as needed. Our goal is to help you educate your student about campus resources so that they can independently manage their student experience. We know that they will need some assistance along the way, but helping your student to develop the life skills  necessary for the world that awaits is critical.

We have another purpose as well: to help you be part of your student's Syracuse University experience. By involving yourself in activities such as Syracuse Welcome and Family Weekend, you can share the excitement with your student and learn more about the University at the same time.

Call, e-mail, visit our social media channels, or make an appointment to stop by during a visit to campus. Don't forget--we are here to help!
