Community Action Month!

Tennessee's Agencies were honored to have Denise Harlow, CEO of the Community Action Partnership join them in kicking of Community Action Month. Harlow presented during the TACA Annual Conference general session on Monday, May 1st.

Community Action Month is dedicated to recognizing the success of the national Community Action Network. Speaker of the Tennessee Senate Randy McNally was among state senators, representatives and local officals to proclaim May in Tennessee Community Action Month. Officials appreciate how local agencies work to build and promote economic stability as an essential aspect of enabling and enhancing stronger communities, which in turn promotes self-sufficiency, ensuring that all are able to live in dignity. They along with the entire community are partners as CAAs implement innovative programs that create a greater chance at success for everyone.

Thank you to Tennessee's Community Action Agencies!
