Issued by City of Toronto, the project is for the construction of new 4 storey (above grade including mezzanine) building with 3 levels of underground parking. Approximate GFA is about 224,000 sf. Structure is mainly cast-in-place concrete up to level 3 and structural steel frame at mezzanine level and main roof. Shoring excavation is required at all 4 sides of the basement. 

The building will house a natatorium (pool area), a child care centre, an adult lounge area, a fitness studio, a gymnasium, a weight room, a stretching space, a walking track, classrooms, a multipurpose meeting space, and a multi-activity room. The facility would include a relocated Toronto Public Library branch (formerly at Bayview), recreational facilities, and an aquatic centre, all served by a three-level underground garage containing a total of 196 parking spaces. The exterior finish is a combination of various cladding materials including alternating glass curtain wall glazing, zinc composite panels, and porcelain ceramic panels. Significant landscaping work is involved.
