Pastor Tom's Note
"Comfort for those who mourn"
Who can forget Elton John’s rendition of “Candle in the Wind” at Princess Diana’s funeral? The world has seen many times of mournings before and after this tragic event 20 years ago. In fact, the stark reality of life is that we are in perpetual mourning, either experienced in the distant past, the most recent present, or somewhere in between. Death has affected all of us. And if we ever forget the raw pain, all it takes is a song (like Elton John’s), a memory to bring back the sting of death to crush our hearts. We are in mourning all over again. One Day Jesus will change all that...

Faith Promise Sunday - This Sunday, November 19
This week, everyone on the TCC mailing list should have received a stewardship packet outlining the budget for 2018.

Included in the mailing, you will find a Faith Promise Card, which we ask all members and regular attendees to fill out and bring with them this Sunday.

Faith Promise cards are non-binding estimates of your planned contributions. Please take time to seek the Lord prayerfully, and honor Him with a tithe of what He has given to you.

At the end of this Sunday's worship service, we will take the time to seek the Lord together in our giving for 2018. A second offering will be collected after the sermon for our Faith Promise Cards. We hope that everyone who calls TCC their church home would make a faith promise as an act of worship and a step of faith to follow God with all our lives, including our finances, for 2018. If you are unable to attend on Sunday, please turn your faith promise card into the office by December 1st. This will give our Finance Committee adequate time to plan our budget for 2018.

Thank you so much for your continued support of the Gospel and ministries at TCC!

Guatemala Night Highlights
With more than 25 soccer teams, 41 pounds of taco beef and chicken as well as 1 bouncy house, we had a crazy celebration of Guatemalan culture last Sunday night at TCC!

The 3rd Annual #GuatNight brought in more than $3900, which will be used to help buy building materials for 2 new homes (including safe and efficient ONIL Stoves) in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala.

In partnership with 2 Guatemalan families who will raise the remaining cost of the materials, our HS Mission Team will help build their homes Feb 16-25, 2018!

Missions and Outreach
Angel Tree Ministry
The Angel Tree is now on display in the Lobby.

What is Angel Tree? Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship program that TCC has participated in for many years.

In a wonderfully practical expression of Christ’s love, Angel Tree provides Christmas gifts to the children of incarcerated parents, and, in turn, it provides opportunities for incarcerated parents to reach out to their children.

Angel Tree has been effective in opening hearts to receive the most important “Gift” of all, which is salvation and forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.

Can you help? If you could help with gift delivery, please contact Jim Santamaria at
508-358-7821 or  [email protected]
