What is the label that you have given to Jesus?

In John 18, Pilate questioned Jesus about the label “King of the Jews.” But Jesus’ answer makes it clear that he isn’t a Jewish revolutionary. He’s not an emerging dictator. He certainly isn’t raising up an army to compete against rival nations. His “kingdom is not of this world.” (John 18:36)

What is the label that you have given to Jesus?

Thank you to all who have turned in Faith Promise cards so far! To date, we have received 76 cards indicating planned contributions of $592,208 to TCC next year. 

To aid us in developing our 2017 budget, please return your Faith Promise Card ASAP.  

Additional Faith Promise Cards and Stewardship Packets may be found at the Connection Hub. You can drop the card in the offering plate, return it to the church office or email it to C ontributions@tccwayland.org .

Mom and Me
Mom and Me is on break for the holiday season and will resume Monday, Jan 8, 2018.
LTA Serves (w/ Coats for Kids!)

LTA will be partnering with Coats for Kids. The coat drive will run until January 7th. All donations will be given to Anton’s Cleaners where they will be professionally cleaned for free and distributed to local families in need. There is a drop-off box in the Lobby.

-Winter coats needed for adults and children
-All sizes needed (Especially XL and Pre-K sizes)
-Please only gently used & good quality



LTA Serves (w/ Salvation Army!)

LTA is partnering with Salvation Army
(Waltham) by collecting donations to purchase $10 gift cards for people in need. This will enable them to buy their own Christmas turkey or ham. The collection will go until Sunday, December 10th.

Guatemala Night Highlights
With more than 25 soccer teams, 41 pounds of taco beef and chicken as well as 1 bouncy house, we had a crazy celebration of Guatemalan culture last Sunday night at TCC!

The 3rd Annual #GuatNight brought in more than $3900, which will be used to help buy building materials for 2 new homes (including safe and efficient ONIL Stoves) in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala.

In partnership with 2 Guatemalan families who will raise the remaining cost of the materials, our HS Mission Team will help build their homes Feb 16-25, 2018!

Angel Tree Ministry
The Angel Tree Gift Deadline is Sunday!

If possible, please include a gift receipt with your gift in case an item needs to be exchanged. Also, please attach the Angel Tree tag to your wrapped gifts, and return them to TCC ASAP. Gifts can be left on the tables set up in the stairwell area off the lobby.

Family Volunteer Opportunity – Help Deliver Angel Tree Gifts!

Could you and your family help deliver the Angel Tree Christmas gifts? It’s a wonderful opportunity to put “feet to your faith” and share the joy of Christmas giving with your family. If you would like more information, please contact Jim Santamaria 508-358-7821 or hermits@comcast.net.
The TCC Food Pantry, “Loaves & Fishes” offers assistance to those of TCC and the surrounding community who need help with providing for themselves and their family . If you are in need, or if you know of someone who is in need, please feel free to visit the church office for assistance from the food pantry. The food pantry is open on Sunday mornings and during regular church office hours. 
Donations to the TCC “Loaves & Fishes” Food Pantry are gratefully accepted. There is a collection bin on a table near the lobby stairwell. We only accept donations of non-perishable food and personal items. WE RESPECTFULLY ASK YOU NOT TO DONATE ANY OPEN OR EXPIRED ITEMS – WE JUST HAVE TO THROW THEM AWAY!
