The group is seeking volunteers to dedicate 90 minutes, once per month which consists of a 15-20 minute presentation from a YP lead presenter, followed by a 45-minute breakout session with hands-on skill building.

A2TC Update from Jim Bruckbauer

In case you missed it, November's YP Morning Brew brought us fellow YP Jim Bruckbauer, Deputy Director of Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities, to discuss a few projects they have in the works included A2TC. A2TC is the project that is campaigning, researching and advocating for the redevelopment of a passenger rail system that runs from Ann Arbor to Traverse City as well as additional arms that stem from that system.  Jim gave a very detailed update on their efforts, the State's support, the ongoing process, as well as the prospective timeline. Thanks Jim for your insight and your efforts on this matter! For more information about this project, visit Groundworks' page HERE. Below are graphic representations illustrating the potential route as well as the estimated time line.
