The Information and Communication Technologies Association of Manitoba (ICTAM) will host the 2018 TECNA CEO Retreat in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  
 
Get ready for an engaging, interactive and collaborative program that has plenty of time for sharing of ideas, best practices and challenges between CEOs. There will also be opportunities to kick back and enjoy time with your peers in beautiful Winnipeg. 

Guided by an experienced facilitator, we'll discuss how we can build prospect pipelines, increase member engagement, grow sponsorships, engage employees, respond to competition, develop new business models, create lasting policies on diversity and inclusion and more. Our goal is that you leave Winnipeg feeling inspired and refreshed - it is a retreat after all.

NVTC recently released the second edition of a research report that shows that the data center industry strengthens and diversifies the economy and drives innovation in Virginia. According to The Economic and Fiscal Contribution that Data Centers Make to Virginia 2018, the total statewide economic impact attributable to the data center industry in 2016 was approximately 43,275 jobs, $3.2 billion in labor income, and $10.2 billion in economic output. One Beacon shares that as the April 16 tax filing deadline approaches, there has been an uptick in phishing scams targeting consumers along with HR managers. This corporate angle features emails supposedly from company executives soliciting employee W2s along with other sensitive payroll information. Any such email requests should be considered suspicious and followed-up with an email or phone call to verify the sender's identity. Be mindful of this aggressive campaign and refer to these IRS tips as a potential resource.
