TRANSMISIONES DE COMBATE AMÉRICAS A TRAVÉS DE TELEMUNDO ALCANZA MÁS ALTOS RATINGS DURANTE VERANO Y OTOÑO 2017 ENTRE LOS SHOWS DE MMA EN TELEVISIÓN DE IDIOMA ESPAÑOL



NUEVA YORK, NY - 13 de diciembre, 2017 - Los eventos "COPA COMBATE" y "Combate 19: Queen Warriors" de Combate Américas, que fueron transmitidos a través de Telemundo el Sábado 11 de Noviembre y Viernes 1 de Diciembre, respectivamente, lograron las dos más grandes audiencias para shows de MMA en verano y otoño de 2017, en la television de Estados Unidos en idioma español.
"COPA COMBATE", que marcó el debut de Combate Américas en Telemundo, siendo transmitida a las 11:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 p.m. CT el 11 de Noviembre, logró un promedio de 280,000 televidentes totales, 137,000 adultos entre 18-49 y 70,000 adultos entre 18-34. El show aumentó la audiencia de 18-34 en ese periodo en un 30 por ciento, y un 10 por ciento entre los adultos de 18-49, en comparación con los cuatro sábados anteriores.
Mientras tanto, "Combate 19: Queen Warriors", que fue transmitido a través de Telemundo a las 12:00 a.m. ET / 11:00 p.m. CT el 1 de Diciembre, logró un promedio de 293,000 televidentes, 156,000 adultos entre 18-49 y 73,000 entre 18-34.

"COPA COMBATE" fue encabezado por un épico torneo de ocho peleadores en una noche, en la división de los pesos gallos (135 lbs), que resultó en una historia de 'Cenicienta', luego de que la sorpresa Levy Marroquin (12-2) de Monterrey, México, derrotó tres oponentes consecutivos en la misma noche, para llevarse un gran premio de $100,000 USD.
En el evento estelar de "Combate 19: Queen Warriors", Kyra "Mogwai" Batara (7-4) de Las Vegas, Nevada, extendió su andar invicto en la jaula de Combate Américas, dominando a la agresiva striker y archi-rival Paulina "Firefox" Granados (4-3) de Corpus Christi, Texas, antes de obtener una decisión unánime en la división de los pesos átomos femeninos (105 lbs) en San Antonio, Texas.
Llevando las acciones en vivo para ambos eventos, estuvieron el multi-campeón de los pesos completos de la WWE, Alberto Del Rio, además del reconocido anunciante de Telemundo Édgar López y el relator Andrés Bermúdez.

TELEMUNDO DEPORTES' BROADCAST OF COMBATE AMERICAS DELIVERS HIGHEST-RATED MMA SHOWS OF SUMMER AND FALL 2017 ON SPANISH LANGUAGE TELEVISION


 
NEW YORK, NY - December 13, 2017 -  Combate Américas' "COPA COMBATE" and "Combate 19: Queen Warriors" that aired live on Telemundo on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Dec. 1, respectively, delivered the two largest audiences for MMA shows in the summer and fall of 2017, on Spanish-language television in the U.S.  
"COPA COMBATE," which marked Combate Americas' premiere on Telemundo, airing at 11:30 p.m. ET/ 10:30 p.m. CT on November 11, delivered an average of 280,000 total viewers, 137,000 adults 18-49 and 70,000 adults 18-34. The show increased the network's 18-34 audience in that time slot by 30 percent, and by 10 percent among adults 18-49, compared to the four prior Saturdays.
Meanwhile, "Combate 19: Queen Warriors," which aired live on Telemundo at 12:00 a.m. ET/11:00 p.m. CT on December 1, delivered an average of 293,000 total viewers, 156,000 adults 18-49 and 73,000 adults 18-34.

 "COPA COMBATE" was headlined by an action-packed, one-night, eight-man tournament in the bantamweight (135 pounds) division that spawned a Cinderella story after underdog  Levy Marroquin (11-2) of Monterrey, Mexico defeated three consecutive opponents in the same night to earn the $100,000 USD tournament grand prize.
In the main event of "Combate 19: Queen Warriors,"  Kyra " Mogwai " Batara (7-4) of Las Vegas, Nevada extended her unbeaten run in La Jaula, the Combate Americas cage, dominating aggressive striker and arch-rival  Paulina "Firefox" Granados(4-3) of Corpus Christi, Texas before earning a unanimous decision in the atom-weight (105 pounds) showdown in San Antonio, Texas.
Calling the live action for both events were multiple-time WWE heavyweight champion  Alberto Del Rio alongside Telemundo's famed NFL and Olympics announcer  Edgar Lopez, and blow-by-blow man  Andres Bermudez.
