Accurate muscle testing is an art and a science. Done correctly, muscle testing can help you determine the type of microbial imbalances in your patient, food reactions, toxicities, hypercoagulation, hormone imbalances, supplement selection, and more.  Using this tool can speed resolution of symptoms, eliminate most herxing and decrease the supplement needs of the patient. Join Dr. Lebowitz for his workshop that includes demonstrations of the application of kinesiology in a clinical setting.

Join Dr. Schweig in a workshop discussion of  why and how appropriate gastrointestinal intervention is critical in patients with chronic illnesses and tick-borne diseases as it can improve symptoms, decrease immune activation, increase effectiveness of treatment protocols, and shorten treatment duration for tick-borne diseases.

  Workshop objectives include:
  • When it is appropriate to use natural and pharmaceutical treatment protocols for addressing gastrointestinal imbalances.
  • Learning appropriate evaluation and testing for a variety of gastrointestinal infections and imbalances including bacterial dysbiosis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, parasitic infections, gastrointestinal inflammation, and yeast overgrowth.
  • Recognizing the importance of dietary intervention and therapeutic dietary prescriptions in the management of autoimmune activation, gastrointestinal inflammation, and immune dysregulation in patients with chronic stealth infections such as tick-borne diseases including Borrelia burgdorferi and associated co-infections.
  • Understanding the importance of food allergies and sensitivities as triggers of immune dysregulation and inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Understanding the importance of appropriate probiotic and prebiotic interventions to help manage the above issues in addition to being important adjuncts during the treatment of tick-borne diseases.
