Letter from President Linda D. Buckles
Area Vice Presidents:

By this time you should have your Area Convention planned.  I have heard from several of you about the dates, your delegates and where you are having your Area Convention, but there are still several of you that I have not heard anything from.

The TFRW Bylaws under ARTICLE IX, CONVENTIONS, Section 3. Area explains everything you should be doing.  A.   Each Area Convention shall be called at least (90) days prior to the State Biennial Convention for the purpose of electing an Area Vice President and to take up any other business the Convention delegates deem appropriate.  The time, date and location of the Area Convention must be submitted with this Call to the State President and to all Club Presidents within their Area.

Several people have asked where to send the name of the newly elected Area Vice President.  This is all in the TFRW Bylaws, but I will make it easier for you.  Please be sure all their information is correct, because it will be used in the Board of Directors Book:  Name, address, phone numbers and email.

The incumbent Area Vice President (or presiding officer) shall submit to the State President (Linda D. Buckles), Second Vice President (Marie Tillman) and State Secretary (Katie Scott) the name, address, telephone numbers and email of the Area Vice President-elect no later than ten (10) days following the Area Convention.
