Coloradans for Nebraska Toy Drive

For the last 2 games of the regular Husker Football Season, Coloradans for Nebraska at all 3 of our Fox and Hound watch partner locations and the Denver Watering Bowl will be holding a Toy Drive. Bring a new unwrapped toy with you to the Fox and Hound or theWatering Bowl for the Penn State and / or the Iowa game and place it in the Coloradans for Nebraska Toy Drive box. When a volunteer is present, for each new unwrapped toy you donate you will receive one additional ticket to the Coloradans for Nebraska half time drawing.
Donations will be accepted for the Toy Drive at these locations outside of Nebraska game days as well so feel free to visit them for pro football, for lunch, for dinner, or for happy hour.

Friday, November 29, 2013 Nebraska vs. Iowa Please join us at one of our many watch partner locations on Friday, November 29, 2013, when Nebraska plays against Iowa at Memorial Stadium for the last regularly scheduled game of the 2013 season. Kickoff is set for 10:00 AM Mtn time with the game airing on ABC.

Half Time Prize Drawings When Coloradans for Nebraska has volunteers at one of the below watch partner locations, you will find information about Coloradans for Nebraska, be able to purchase Coloradans for Nebraska memberships and merchandise, purchase Nebraska merchandise, donate to the Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Funds, and have the opportunity to win prizes in half time drawings. With more volunteers, we can provide this additional fun at even more locations! For the half time drawing, each person over 10 will be provided one ticket. You can donate to the Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Funds for additional tickets to the half time drawing. Scholarship Application is Online
The Coloradans for Nebraska scholarship application for Colorado High School Graduates attending the University of Nebraska for 2014 / 2015 school year is now online. The deadline to submit a fully completed application is Saturday, March 1, 2014 by 5:00 p.m. to Coloradans for Nebraska. See the application online for all of the details for what is needed and how to submit a fully completed application.
For this scholarship, there will be 15 $1500 scholarships offered to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors attending UNL, or all grade levels for UNK / UNO. The scholarship committee will review all fully completed applications received, and will award points for each section of the application based on a rubric. This helps to ensure each area of the application is reviewed and scholarships are awarded on objective items.
Incoming Freshman to UNL for 2014 / 2015 are eligible for the Coloradans for Nebraska Legends Scholarship which is selected by the Admissions Department. The Legends Scholarship is a $2000 award. Coloradans for Nebraska is sponsoring 12 of these scholarships.

Husker Games on the Radio
Huskers will be on the Radio for 2013 - 1060 KRCN (formerly KLMO). There will be two hours of local "College Gameday" style show before joining the network for one hour of pregame. There will also be extended post game coverage as well.
Some games will also air on AM 1580 in Colorado Springs. Currently, the Huskers will be on for the Iowa game. As more kick off times are announced, additional games may be added to the Colorado Springs Station.
