The Bermuda Music and Drama Society is going undercover with a night of music and singing in a James Bond theme. At 8:00pm nightly from June 7 to 9, The Daylesford Singers have prepared an ensemble of tunes from the famous series and invite you to join them in song. Tickets are $25, available at the BMDS Box Office or at www.bmds.bm.

Celebrating the Big Blue
Friday, June 8
Give an appreciative wave on June 8 for World Oceans Day, a global day in which countries around the world celebrate the ocean and all its creatures. Locally, the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences is partnering with the Blue Halo Project and inviting you to an evening of ocean appreciation at the HSBC Harbourview Centre. From 5:30pm to 7:30pm, hear from some of Bermuda's ocean advocates including Eric Hochberg, Tammy Trott, Philippe Rouja and Chris Flook. There will be complimentary canapés and treats including Lionfish Cakes, and each attendee receives a Blue Halo cocktail and t-shirt. Tickets are $20, available through Vanessa Shorto ( Vanessa.Shorto@BIOS.edu or 297-1880 ext. 204). Proceeds benefit Ocean Support Foundation.

 Prepare your life raft: you're going to need it! The Flanagan's Onions FC invite you to kick-off the European Championships with them this Saturday, June 9, with a booze cruise on the Great Sound. Come dressed in your favourite football jersey and pledge your allegiance to your country of choice in this year's Euro Cup. Boat departs Albuoy's Point at 7:30pm, returning at 10:30pm. Prepare to Get Wet 'n Wild
Saturday, June 9
 Following the success of last year's events, the 2012 Heineken Wet & Wild party at Snorkel Park in Dockyard promises to be one of the biggest and best parties of summer 2012! With a mega slide, swimming pools, foam pit, slip and slide, drinking games, water guns, and more, the dress code is bikinis and board shorts for plenty of soaking wet fun! Doors open at 10:00pm. Tickets are $30 in advance and are available at Sovereign, Mambo, Kit and Caboodle, Sound Stage and Snorkel Park; $40 at the gate. Ticket holders must be 18 and over.

A Curtsey to the Queen
Sunday, June 10
 If this past weekend's events celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee seemed inadequate, you can continue to toast Her Majesty with a High Tea, hosted by the Meet-a-Mum Association of Bermuda. Taking place on June 10 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Rosewood Tucker's Point's Clubhouse, the event honours Queen Elizabeth II and her 60-year service to Britain and the Commonwealth. Guests are asked to wear red, blue and white and tiaras and hats are welcome. RSVP to Daniele at events@mama.bm. Non-members of MAMA are welcome. |

Tee Off Time
June 14-17
 Unpack your putters and start revving the engine on your golf cart; the open stroke play championship is back! From June 14th to the 17th at the Port Royal Golf Course, all of Bermuda's stroke play championships are held together during this exciting event. There will be a pro division, a men and ladies amateur division and a senior men and ladies division, so there's no excuse not to participate.
