2015, THE SEARCH IS OVER. THE FUTURE IS NOW.
Please make a year-end donation; support our #GetOnBoard campaign

The search is over. Our new home in Atlantic Basin gives PortSide NewYork stability and allows us to devote energy to growth and programs.

Thanks to your support, 2015 was a year of major milestones.  See, read, feel it in our year-in-review blogpost!

Please  donate  now and support PortSide's momentum!

In 2015, PortSide added program partners, expanded curricula and outreach to schools, and inspired more artists.

We continued significant waterfront policy and planning work informally, via our role on the Sunset Park Task Force and Red Hook's NY Rising committee, and with our messaging on social media.

We made great progress with our Red Hook WaterStories cultural tourism, placemaking and resiliency project!  Thanks to our volunteers and interns, we did significant  restoration work on the tanker MARY A. WHALEN, a ship whose Red Hook pedigree started in 1938.  We  acquired more history in the form of objects and interviews.  We produced a Norwegian Red Hook WaterStories night. We are excited that Red Hook WaterStories has been awarded $20,000 in funding by Councilman Carlos Menchaca.  We need matching funds for that grant.   Please donate to help this project create multimedia guides to Red Hook!

You can also give of your time to support our #GetOnBoard   campaign.

Please look over our great 2015 , and donate to make our 2016 even better!

Thanks for your support! Best wishes for your holidays and 2016!
